What I’m Doing Today

For the last few years, I’ve been jaded about 9/11. The problem is that I am sick and tired of EVERYONE over glorifying it. Now before you string me up a tree, hear me out. Yes, I understand that it was a tragic day for this country. Yes, I understand the devastation. I know hundreds of lives were lost. I even made a tribute AMV video. That was how I expressed my feelings and how I dealt with it. I understand that today is the 10th anniversary of the tragedy. But the positive side of this is that Bin Laden is dead.

Your Best Foot Forward

So I’ve been cosplaying for a long time.  As of the last couple of years, I don’t consider myself a cosplayer, as in, I don’t bring three to four new costumes to every single convention.  Most of the current fandoms just annoy me, damn weaboos.  I go to cons, bring my favorite costumes, do work for my website and publish it. I enjoy that.  But it seems that since I’ve gone to the production aspect of it, the usual circles I run with don’t hit me up anymore.

Time is Money… And Money is Time

It took me a while to understand that phrase.  But that phrase hit me head on last week. Last week, I found out this girl I knew from an online chatroom was in town.   So we made plans to hang out. I said that I’d contact her when I was done with work.  I was done around 11 and I texted her that I’d be free around 3.  No answer.  I texted her that I’m free at 5.  Still nothing, so I went home that day.  Around 9pm I get a text from her that she left her phone in her purse.

Getting Laid Off Isn’t That Bad…

Well my first grand return to my blog was supposed to be something different. But that is life. ^^ So, what some of you don’t know is that I am a PC Technician. It’s what I went to school for.  It’s what I was doing at this job.  What I would is support the teachers and make sure that the software ran without any problems.  During the summer I would help with hardware maintenance.  I have only been there for four months.  A wonderful four months at that. I learned a lot from my fellow techs there.
